Integration as such are greatly demanded in the offshore engineering field. Let’s look at a large volume example. JINPAT LPA000-0250-FO04 is a large current slip ring with high power capacity. The rated current of a single channel is 50A with a working voltage of 4000V. This high power integrated slip ring takes up frame structure design. To allow high working voltage while ensuring its insulation, the space between rings should be wide enough and therefore this slip ring model has a relatively large volume. As for the optical module, there is a 4-channel single-mode fiber optic rotary joint to enable passage of optical signals. This slip ring model is basically installed in the marine winches.

Another very practical integrated slip ring for offshore engineering equipment is JINPAT LPA000-1484-FO04-EX. From its coding, you can see it is an explosion-proof slip ring. In the electrical module, there are 14 84A power channels, the working voltage is comparatively lower than that of the LPA000-0250-FO04, which is 3700V. This slip ring model is developed for Offshore platform ROVs. The power unit provides drive to the robot while the optical unit functions to transmit optic signals.
