Currently, umbilical cables for subseaburial machines are mostly handled using reel systems. However, this methodrequires significant storage space and manpower, making it unsuitable forsmaller vessels. To address this challenge, cable winch equipment has beendeveloped. As an essential core component within these winches, the conductiveslip ring plays a critical role in connecting and transmitting power andmonitoring signals between surface vessels and underwater equipment, ensuringuninterrupted operation between the mothership and the subsea burial machine.

Recently, JINPAT has successfully developeda dedicated slip ring for cable winches. With its excellent transmissioncapability, high working voltage and current capacity, robust insulationperformance, and adaptability to harsh environments, it has quickly become anew benchmark in the field of marine slip rings.

The JINPAT winch slip ring features a9-circuit integrated design. Its housing is constructed from stainless steeland undergoes strict anti-corrosion treatment, effectively resisting salt sprayerosion and protecting the unit from corrosion damage. It operates reliably inextreme temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C. This slip ring supports aworking voltage of up to 6000 VAC and a working current of 120A, easilyhandling various high-load conditions and ensuring stable performance underdemanding circumstances, thereby providing strong support for the smoothprogress of offshore projects.

To guarantee insulation and waterproofintegrity, JINPAT subjects each slip ring to rigorous pre-delivery testing, including a 9600 VAC insulation withstand voltage test and IP65 waterproofrating certification. Even under severe weather conditions such as heavy rainand high waves, it effectively prevents the ingress of moisture and dust, maintaining internal component dryness and cleanliness, which extends theequipment's service life.

Thanks to its outstanding performance andreliable quality, JINPAT's new offshore winch slip ring is now widely used invarious marine winch systems and has become an indispensable key component infields such as offshore engineering, marine scientific research, and fisheries. The launch of this product not only reflects JINPAT's firm commitment totechnological innovation and quality enhancement but also injects new vitalityand momentum into the global marine exploration industry. It enhances theefficiency and safety of offshore operations while driving the advancement anddevelopment of marine technology.
