Wind turbines require reliable transmission of signal and data  from the nacelle to the control system for the rotary blades.  This slip ring can be supplied either as open slip ringbodies to be built per customers ‘ quirements or in a housing of impact-resistant plastic or sheet metal.  This slip ring with precision ball bearings meet or exceed life requirements for most commercial application.
